FOLLOWING Al-Nassr FC’s announcement of the purchase of Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo on Friday, supporters of the Saudi Arabian club flocked to get the star’s number seven jersey.
“I noticed a huge number of fans queuing up hoping to buy a Ronaldo jersey.
“The shop staff is telling people when the jerseys will be available,” shared an individual named Muath Al-Jandal, who lives near the location of the shop that sells Al-Nassr FC merchandise in Riyadh.
The 37-year-old star completed a record move to the Saudi Arabian club recently when he signed a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Ronaldo will earn £173 million (RM921.6 million) a year to watch him emerge as the highest-paid sports expert in football history.
At his new club, Ronaldo will wear the number seven jersey, the same as he wore at Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus
