Tom Cruise piloted the plane, while the professional pilot sat in the back. The actor is passionate about airplanes, has a helicopter pilot license and a fixed-wing pilot’s license. A few years ago, he learned to fly a plane to film the action movie ‘Top Gun 2’. Earlier this year, he  started training  with World War-era planes for the ‘Mission: Impossible 8’ series of scenes. These experiences gave him the skills to fly an 80-year-old plane.

When the plane stabilized, Tom Cruise climbed out onto the wing and sat upright on it.

The aerobatic plane and Tom Cruise hang themselves at an altitude of 2,000 feet (nearly 610 m). The Metro page commented on the actor’s rolling spirit: “Tom Cruise’s blood seems to have no limit”.

In the previous parts of ‘Mission: Impossible’ as well as other works, Tom ran continuously and performed many challenging fights and actions himself.

Finished filming ‘Mission: Impossible 7’  in September, but Tom Cruise did not give himself a break, immediately entered the shooting process for part 8 of the movie franchise. These two films and the blockbuster ‘Top Gun’ encountered many obstacles in shooting and releasing because of Covid-19.

Before that, after landing at Duxford airport, Tom Cruise began practicing aerobatic action scenes with World War-era aircraft. The 59-year-old actor wears a pilot’s suit, shoes and gloves, and wears a helmet.
