In the interviews, Mentewab expressed her hope that Angelina Jolie would have legal custody of Zahara and mentioned her wish to have the opportunity to meet her biological daughter again. She clarified that her desire is not to reclaim custody but to establish contact and have occasional conversations with Zahara. Mentewab acknowledged that Angelina Jolie has provided Zahara with everything she could wish for and emphasized that she appreciates the care Jolie has given to her daughter.
