Actress Janet Hubert once called Will Smith a vandal and said that it was the actor who destroyed nearly 30 years of his career.
According to the Daily Mail , actors Will Smith and Janet Hubert just had a reunion on the show Red Table. Hubert said she came to Smith with the intention of removing the knot, not creating more hatred. The conversation has helped break a feud that’s lasted nearly 30 years since they starred in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990).
Smith begins: “I have a feeling that you hate me.” Immediately, Janet Hubert shared the lingering questions for many years: “I hate what you did. He always wanted to move forward, no matter what. That’s right, because you’re young and eager.”

The actress likens the past 27 years to a life sentence for her career and that makes her tired.
“Will’s defenders beat my son. They said his mother was a bitch. Even Will’s crazy fans sent hateful photos with the message ‘Aren’t you dead yet? We love Will. Why don’t you go and die?’. It was hard for me to get through,” Janet Hubert said, trying to hold back tears.
Janet Hubert denied the information was fired by the producer. “They reduced my footage, which meant that my salary was also cut. At that time, I had just had a baby and my husband was unemployed. I didn’t accept their offer, but I’ve never been fired,” she explained.

The actress also affirmed that she did not behave unprofessionally on set. She did not communicate with people due to suspicion, as well as rumors that Will Smith himself suggested reducing his footage.
“I lost everything, lost my reputation and everything. He didn’t understand that when he called a black woman in Hollywood ‘difficult’, it was like Death bestowing a kiss on her career. But I have no choice but to try to rise,” the No Letting Go actor shared.
