Mentewab Dawit Lebiso, the biological mother of Zahara, the adopted daughter of actress Angelina Jolie, recently expressed her desire to reconnect with her child through the media. Zahara was adopted by Angelina Jolie from Ethiopia when she was an infant.
Currently residing in the Central region of Ethiopia, Mentewab Dawit Lebiso has faced challenges in her life. The media sought her out for interviews, particularly after the news of the separation of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Zahara’s adoptive parents.
In the interviews, Mentewab expressed her hope that Angelina Jolie would have legal custody of Zahara and mentioned her wish to have the opportunity to meet her biological daughter again. She clarified that her desire is not to reclaim custody but to establish contact and have occasional conversations with Zahara. Mentewab acknowledged that Angelina Jolie has provided Zahara with everything she could wish for and emphasized that she appreciates the care Jolie has given to her daughter.
As of now, Angelina Jolie has custody of all six children, including Zahara, following the end of her marriage to Brad Pitt. The final custody arrangements are being kept private, and details have not been widely disclosed to the media.
