There were a couple of free-agent players who could’ve cashed out this offseason, but they all chose not to just to play with one team, but take less money to do so.

Nobody represents more Miami Dolphins players than NFL Super Agent Drew Rosenhaus as the Dolphins remain among the most desirable destinations for NFL free agents as they have become Super Bowl contenders.

The Dolphins were able to plug some holes with Rosenhaus clients on both sides of the ball.

This week, Rosenhaus made it clear that four of his clients signed with them for less money just to play with the Dolphins just for the chance to play for the Super Bowl contender.

Those players are linebacker Shaq Barrett.

Barrett had 59 career sacks during his time with the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including one season that he led the league in the statistic, recording 19.5 in 2019, according to ESPN.com. He has already won a Super Bowl in his career.

Longtime Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer was the next one who signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins. Poyer appeared in 16 games in 2023 and ranked second on the Bills with 101 total tackles while also adding four passes defended, a sack, and a forced fumble.

Wide receiver Braxton Berrios is the next one, but he re-signed with the team on a one-year deal. The wide receiver played in 16 games, receiving a start in one last season, where he totaled 27 receptions for 238 yards and one touchdown.

Tua Tagovailoa’s Resurgent Play In 2023 Makes The Miami Dolphins An Attractive Destination To Players For Super Bowl Run

When an NFL team shows to have a quarterback in play and winning comes along with it, players will want to play for them as they want an opportunity to go to the Super Bowl.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa showed that he can stay healthy and play at a high level in 2023 and that may have just opened the window on a future Super Bowl appearance.
