The Ravens are signing free agent cornerback Ka’dar Hollman, via Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.

Hollman played in 17 games for the Houston Texans last year with one start. He was one of Houston’s core special teams players.

The 29-year-old Hollman was a sixth-round pick by Green Bay in 2019 and appeared in 18 games during his tenure with the Packers.

The Ravens will host free agent wide receiver Josh Reynolds on Friday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 29-year-old Reynolds has spent the past two seasons with the Lions and caught 40 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns in 2023. During Detroit’s three playoff games, Reynolds caught eight passes for 132 yards and a touchdown.

During his seven-year career with the Rams, Titans and Lions, Reynolds has 220 catches for 2,933 yards and 19 touchdowns.

The Ravens will host free agent wide receiver Michael Gallup on Thursday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Gallup previously visited the Carolina Panthers.

Gallup, 28, was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week as a cap-savings move, ending his six-year run with the team. He had signed five-year, $62.5 million contract extension before the 2022 season.

Gallup caught 34 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns last season. He posted a career-high 1,107 yards and six touchdowns in 2019.

Former Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s free-agent tour will begin in Miami, per ESPN’s Josina Anderson. Beckham posted a goodbye Baltimore this week after his one season in purple and black.

Veteran guard Kevin Zeitler is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Zeitler has been the Ravens’ starting right guard for the past three seasons and earned his first trip to Pro Bowl this year. Zeitler, who turned 34 earlier this month, got the 16th-highest grade of any guard in the league last season.

Ravens free agent backup quarterback Tyler Huntley has agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, per ESPN’s Jake Trotter. Huntley would be the Browns’ fourth quarterback. The Browns also signed Jameis Winston this offseason, seemingly to be the No. 2 quarterback behind Deshaun Watson, and drafted Dorian Thompson-Robinson in the fifth round last offseason.

Huntley didn’t see much action last season as Jackson was healthy all year, but “Snoop” started nine regular season games and one in the playoffs. He has a career 79.0 quarterback rating with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions, and has run for 509 yards and three scores. Undrafted out of Utah in 2020, Huntley has been Jackson’s primary backup the past three seasons.

Ravens free agent pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney is taking his time weighing his options. The veteran met with the hometown Carolina Panthers Thursday evening, and is slated to visit the New York Jets next week, per NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

The Ravens are expected to release wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. with a post-June 1 designation, per ESPN’s Dan Graziano, which would give Baltimore more salary-cap savings.

Jadeveon Clowney has played for five different teams over the past six seasons and is exploring his options once again. Coming off a resurgent season with 9.5 sacks, the veteran pass rusher is going to visit the Carolina Panthers, reports NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. While the Panthers are in rebuild mode, Clowney is a native of Rock Hill, S.C., so it would be a homecoming. The Ravens are expressing interest in bringing back the former No. 1-overall pick back, Garafolo reports.

The Ravens’ lone exclusive rights free agent, defensive back Ar’Darius Washington is returning to Baltimore as expected, per The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reported.

Washington played in two games last season before suffering a chest injury, which kept him out for most of the rest of the season. He returned for the playoffs, primarily playing on special teams. Washington could have a bigger role next season with the reported free-agent departures of safety Geno Stone and cornerback Ronald Darby. Slot cornerback Arthur Maulet is also a free agent.

Former Ravens long snapper Tyler Ott has found a new home with the Washington Commanders, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. The Ravens needed a long snapper last year after Nick Moore suffered a torn Achilles. Ott did an outstanding job, but Moore is expected to return this season.

Another former Raven will be suiting up the enemy, as linebacker Patrick Queen will reportedly sign a three-year, $41 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, reports ESPN’s Marcus Spears.

Linebacker and special teams standout Del’Shawn Phillips is headed to the Houston Texans on a one-year deal, reports KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson.

Phillips spent the past two seasons in Baltimore, playing in all but one game primarily on special teams. He had 24 tackles and one forced fumble last season.

The Ravens reportedly agreed to terms with another free agent linebacker and special teams leader, Malik Harrison, on Monday.

The Ravens aren’t the only team that has talked with free agent running back Derrick Henry, reports The Athletic’s Dianna Russini. She reports that Henry has had “multiple conversations” and that “nothing Is imminent.”

Even after numerous free agent running backs found suitors on Day 1, King Henry still sits atop the throne. That may not last too much longer, however.

CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson reports that there’s mutual interest between Derrick Henry and the Ravens. That pairing has been buzzed about for months, and with many seats taken around the league, the speculation has narrowed to the Ravens and Cowboys for Henry’s services.

Earlier in the day Monday, Anderson reported that the Cowboys were not shopping at the top of the running back market. Whether that remains true after many of the other options found suitors remains to be seen.

The Ravens are going to need a new left guard again, as John Simpson has reportedly agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the New York Jets for up to $18 million, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The Ravens signed Simpson near the end of the 2022 season and he won the starting left guard job in training camp to replace Ben Powers. Simpson started every game and was a high-quality run blocker, helping pave the way for Baltimore’s league-leading rushing attack.

Baltimore’s starting right guard, Kevin Zeitler, is still a free agent, but he will likely begin Day 2 at or near the top of the guard market.

It wasn’t all departures on Day 1 of the “legal tampering” period. Linebacker Malik Harrison is returning to the Ravens on a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

A Ravens third-round pick in 2000, Harrison has become a versatile linebacker who can play inside or outside and set the edge. He is also a core special teams player. He played 14 games, made eight starts, and logged 20 tackles last season.

The Ravens added Ronald Darby in mid-August last year. This year, he found a new team on the first day free agency opened. CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson reports that Darby is going to Jacksonville on a two-year deal worth a max of $10 million.

Darby became a key piece of the Ravens’ secondary last season, especially when Marlon Humphrey was sidelined by injuries. Darby started seven games and played 40% of the defensive snaps, finishing with 28 tackles and seven passes defensed. He finished with the 45th best coverage grade from Pro Football Focus and a stellar 51.7% reception percentage.

Odell Beckham Jr. wasn’t the first Ravens free-agent wide receiver to land elsewhere. It was Devin Duvernay, who reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with an $8.5 million base salary, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Duvernay was a Pro Bowl returner for the Ravens in 2021 and 2022, but he dealt with a back injury this season that limited him to 13 games. His offensive role shrunk significantly, as he finished with four catches for 18 yards. Tylan Wallace took over as the primary returner when Duvernay was sidelined.

Even with a loaded free-agent safety class, Geno Stone was one of the first ones to come off the board. Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz first reported that Stone is going to the rival Cincinnati Bengals on a two-year deal. It’s reportedly for $15 million, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Stone led the AFC with seven interceptions last season, including one on the goal-line in a Week 2 win over the Bengals. Now he’ll be trying to pick off Lamar Jackson.

It didn’t take Gus Edwards long to find a new home, as the Ravens running back has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It would be a reunion with former Ravens offensive coordinator Greg Roman. The Chargers and new Head Coach Jim Harbaugh are looking to build a strong run game, and new General Manager Joe Hortiz, also formerly of the Ravens, is making it happen.

Edwards came to Baltimore as an undrafted rookie in 2018 and amassed 3,395 yards and 26 rushing touchdowns over the past five seasons. He scored a career-high 13 rushing touchdowns last year.
